WineAppeal.it "Art in a bottle" Silent Auction, Participation and Rules

The auction 2010 will end on November 16th at The Westchester Italian Cultural Center at 11:00 PM.

In order to take part in the auction, bidders must be at least 18 years of age and complete a bidding form, providing: personal contact information (name, address, email and telephone); a credit card number (which will only be charged in case of a winning bid); indication of intended method of payment (cash, check or credit card) in order to ensure adherence to bid amounts and fairness to all.

Bidders will indicate the number corresponding to their artist(s) of choice, theme (red or white label), and their offer amount ($100.00 USD minimum). Bids will increase in $20.00 USD increments.

Green dots indicate no bids yet offered; Yellow dots indicate bidding on item has occurred; Red dots will indicate bottles sold at auction’s end.

Auction winners obtain ownership of original work of art. However, artists retain all publishing, copying and leasing rights to their work. Labels, including their image, are not to be reproduced or used for any commercial or public purpose without the express permission of the artist.

Bids will be accepted:

• via telephone, calling the number +1 (914) 771 8700;
• via email, sending an email to artauction@wineappeal.it;
• by filling in the printed Bidding Form and giving it to the curators Salvatore Cottone or Patrizia Calce at The Westchester Italian Cultural Center during the event;

The online auction page will be updated on a continuous basis, and winners will be notified at the
auction’s close. Payment is accepted in cash, check or by credit card. Auction winners paying in cash may collect their item(s) with payment at the location of the event. Winners paying by credit card will be automatically notified and charged at auction’s end. Domestic and International shipping is available at the expense of the bidder.
