	Marco Bonafè was born in Palermo, the city in which he has lived and worked since 1981. He graduated from the Palermo Institute of Applied Arts, where he studied painting. Since then, Marco has developed a career that includes sculpture, design and installation, as well as painting. His most important recent collaborative exhibits include “Una Presenta Costruttiva”, a show in honot of the 50th anniversary of the Cementeria (cement factory) on the Isola delle Femmine (Island of the Females) in 2007, as well as a group exhibit at the Brick Lane gallery in London earlier this year. Mr. Bonafe traveleled to New York for his exhibit, “My Com” in October of this year. Marco Bonafè Nasce a Palermo nel 1981. Vive e lavora nella stessa città. Frequenta il Liceo Artistico e in seguito si diploma in Arti Applicate all’Istituto d’Arte della sezione pittura. Recentemente, oltre a importanti mostre collettive quali: “Una Presenta Costruttiva” in occasione del 50° anniversario della Cementeria di Isola delle femmine, 2007; mostra collettiva, Brick Lane Gallery, London, 2008; allestisce mostre personali: After Warhol, Spazio B Quadro, Palermo, 2007 a cura di Salvo Ferlito; Disney War, Centre Civic Cotxeres Borrell, Barcelona, (Spagna), 2008 curata da Salvo Ferlito; New York – 255 W 86th Street (Broadway ), 2008 curata da Pietro Franesi.
