wines of
Casa Vinicola Calatrasi are made from grapes
cultivated in the Jato
Valley,
in the Monreale DOC Area.
The uniqueness of the aromas and flavour typical of the indigenous
Catarratto and Nero d'Avola,
combined with the creativity of the New World creates these
noble wines. |

Varieties: Nero d'Avola
Alcohol: 14%
Very deep red/violet colour with purple edges.
The nose is elegant and savoury Nero d’Avola with richness
and sweetness from fermentation in new barriques.
The palate is intense and concentrated with pungent fruit with
palate length gained from oak sweetness and depth from high quality
Nero d’Avola.
The palate persists with richness and sweetness with dark cherry
and assertive tannins at the end. |

Varieties: Cataratto
Alcohol: 13.5%
A soft green/gold colour and a warm vintage has yielded a nose
that is elegant and lifted with the classic characteristics of
the peach and nectarine fruit.
The palate is characteristic of Catarratto with strong nectarine
flesh with an elegant but assertive fruit character.
Biscuity oak persists on the finish, adding to the overall
complexity and finish of the wine. |

wines of Azienda Agricola Barone Sergio are made of grapes
cultivated in the fertile Valley of Noto,
in the Eloro
DOC zone, in a perfect
union between tradition and technology, where ancient buildings
have been renovated and reorganised to house up-to-date winemaking
facilities. |

Sauvignon

A deep ruby red colour.
The palate is powerful and well-structured with sweet tannins
and light hints of asparagus and vanilla.
The nose is a rush
of red mature fruits with strong notes of blackcurrant and
chocolate.
Long and persistent finish. |

The vineyards of the Azienda Vitivinicola Avide are located in the center of the Bastonaca region, the heart of D.O.C.G. Cerasuolo di Vittoria. A territory delimitated by the rivers Ippari and Dirillo and known as "Mesopotamium" since Roman age and birth place of great red wines. |

A deep cherry red colour. The nose is very intense and persistent reminding of ripe pomegranate. The palate is warm and full-bodied. It is suggested to open it one hour before and serve at 18°-20° C |
