Walk into
VERO UOMO (Italian for "True Man") for the first (or 30th time), and you'll realize the
moment you're greeted by owner Mario Roselli and his sales staff that you've entered a unique men's
store. Boasting high-quality brand names like
Brioni,
Pal Zileri and
Zanella, along with an elite
selection of sportswear and the store's own upscale private shirt and tie label (also Vero Uomo), the
shop exudes an Italian vibe when it comes to the clothing, but a decidedly down-home American
touch with regards to customer service. We sat down with Roselli to find out just what makes his store
—celebrating its 10 year anniversary in December— stand out from the crowd.
