Vero Uomo Shirts
They’re made in Bari, in Southern Italy. You can buy them off the
rack, and they’re beautiful shirts, or you can have them made to
measure. I have two books of fabric swatches from which to
choose, a variety of collars (including hidden or visible button
down), French or barrel cuffs (one or two button), 1 mm or 5 mm
collar stitching, and so on.
We can shorten the sleeves in the store, the proper way so the
fit is perfect. If you like the way the shirt comes out, we take
your measurements and in four weeks, you’ll have your shirt.
The quality
is as high as Brioni or others like that, but we can do
it for about $100 less and you get an incredible level of
personalization. |

Vero Uomo Ties
Like the shirts, the fabrics are hand picked by me. They’re
manufactured by a company called Italo Ferretti, located near
Pescara in the Adriatic. They work with a lot of the upscale
labels. What’s unique is that I’m providing a service when it
comes to customization.
When did you ever have a place where you can buy the same tie
extra long or extra short as needed? One guy comes in with a
19-inch neck, he doesn’t want his tie to stop at his stomach.
Another person might come in with his young son, looking for a
tie that doesn’t hang below his waist. I
worked with a wedding
party this summer where we customized the tie lengths for the
whole party. |
