Her painting activity dates back to the seventies, the painting technique is oil on canvas. She’s often had taken her inspiration from her numerous trips to Europe, Russia, the Middle East, China, Mexico and South America and the United States. North Africa with its deserts, oasis and dispersed villages over the arid highlands were clues for her canvases, as well as the Sicilian countryside, with the sea surrounding her land inspiring her with its colors and shapes.
She collaborated with the Prizzi Town administration as curator in several Summer events, among them, a poetic/musical spectacle for the centenary of the poet Federico Garcia Lorca (1999). She curated the scenography for the celebration of San Giovanni in 2007 and 2008, painting the scenes, designing costumes and make up, as well as designing the lay out for “Libretto dell’Ecuba” (Ecuba’s play bill), for the inauguration of the Prizzi amphitheater in the Summer of 2002.
